Continuous improvement - maintaining best practices

User experience continuous improvement is essential to maintaining best practices. When reviewing and analysing current state I am constantly looking for areas to tidy and improve. Especially the small things that can be easily done but can make a big difference. Not all improvements need to be scoped as a big project.

By staying attuned to user feedback, conducting usability testing, embracing iterative design, and leveraging data-driven insights, it really helps to create products and services that deliver exceptional user experiences and stay competitive in the fast-paced digital landscape.

Below example one and two are some continuous improvement work that was conducted as part of the Auckland Council’s Web Replatform project stream.

Example three are wireframes to improve the customer journey for the Flood Viewer developed for an Auckland Council app utilising GIS maps.
