Design System - design and support development of the system
Summary:
Co-developed a design system that offers a unified language and structured framework to help guide teams through the process of creating digital products for Auckland Council. Design System is to be used for an up-coming web replatform project of moving 80+ Auckland Council websites from Sharepoint to Adobe Experience Manager.
Role:
UX/UI Designer.
The key UX/UI Designers to lead and support the development of the Auckalnd Council’s design system. Core responsibilities included, gap analysis, creating 70+ reusable, accessible and responsive components, authoring usage guidelines. Designing templates and a grid system that can accommodate multiple digital products across the business while maintaining consistency and coherence across the product suite. This encourages a more streamlined design process and ensures the user journey is more consistent, building towards a positive customer experience each time.
